The Original Cheeburger Cheeburger was founded in 1986 on the island of Sanibel, Florida. Named for a popular 1978 Saturday Night Live sketch, the restaurant leaned into nostalgic ambiance, featuring classic shakes, sundaes, and of course, Cheeburger Cheeburger cheeseburgers.

Through the years we’ve remained committed to customization while adding on to our menu. Whether its burgers, sundaes, shakes or salads, let our food reflect your personal taste. Our menu features a full lineup of appetizers, entrees and desserts to satisfy everyone in your group.

When customers step into our store, we want you to go back in time, but move forward with flavor.
